Sacramento Valley Steel Shooters
Schedule
SVSS monthly steel matches are held on the 3rd Sunday from May to October. Our matches are affiliated with Folsom Shooting Club, and sanctioned by the Steel Challenge Shooting Association.
Gates open at 0730; Check-in starts at 0800; Shooter meeting at 0845.
Because of increased interest in the steel match, we have a 60 gun limited per match plus staff guns.

First gun: $20

Limit of 2 guns per match
You will register online, but make payment when you arrive at the match. CASH ONLY.
Prerequisites for Participation
All shooters are required to have any of the following:
- USPSA or IDPA classification
- Completion of an 'Intro to USPSA' or equivalent course
- Other verifiable 'Action shooting' competition experience.
We have very specific safety practices, therefore LEO / MIL / Front Sight / Thunder Ranch, etc. does not meet this requirement. Matches are conducted under sanctioning by the United States Practical Shooting Association.
Registration
All competitors can register for the match at Practiscore.com, or if space permits we will accept walk-on shooters.
All match fees collected the morning of the match at sign-in, CASH ONLY.
Memberships
Prospective members must be an active member of the National Rifle Association, in addition to being sponsored by an existing SVSS member in good standing. Contact us for more information.
